The Primary Elements
Singer
Tani Layne’s incredible 3-octave range is featured front and center.
Her versions of songs initially performed by male vocalists are often amazing,
but her treatment of female vocalist’s material is what sets Secret Ingredient
apart from most other Baton Rouge-based cover bands.
Guitarist Richard Fendley can perform almost any style effortlessly and is known for enticing fantastic sounds from a 6-string instrument. Rhythm guitarist Joe Sherman is responsible for keeping the songs together and also handles some solos and lead vocals. Chain Onorato lays down some of the finest bass lines you will hear and is “experienced” far beyond his years. The beat is provided by Kelly Hannan, who is counted on for solid backing on drums. His wide range of tastes in music help the band’s repertoire to be diverse and appealing to groups of all ages. |

Led Zeppelin, the Doors, the Beatles, and the Rolling Stones. Pearl Jam, Bush, Alice In Chains. A Secret Ingredient show encompasses all of this and more. But perhaps it’s the Pat Benatar, Blondie, or Alanis Morisette covers that set them apart. Check out the song list and decide for yourself. |
